The Attributes edit field is used for holding the station attributes selected for the specified station. This field behaves much like the comment edit field.
Because there are up to 60 different attributes (each with its own name), individual attributes are shown merely as single characters. To view and edit the actual attribute names and characters, you must use the Attribute Window. The Attribute Window is reached by selecting Attributes from the Edit Menu.
Each of the 60 available attributes is mapped to a single character. If "Cave" and "Entrance" are attributes mapped to the characters "C" and "E", then entering "CE" into the attribute field would specify that the station has both "Cave" and "Entrance" attributes. A single station can have all, some, or none of the available attributes.
Changing station attributes from the Edit Window is slow and somewhat awkward. Attributes are usually edited much easier by clicking directly onto the lineplot.
